Virtual Private Server (VPS) / Re: Which VPS should I have a deal with?
« Last post by Teodor on March 20, 2026, 08:53:55 PM »
Looking at VPS providers, hostpro.com stands out for combining performance with operational stability. NVMe storage and scalable resources make it suitable for a wide range of workloads, from simple websites to more demanding services. The backup system is particularly strong, with daily copies stored for 30 days and flexible restore options. Having access to different control panels simplifies server management depending on preferences or project needs. Their 24/7 support also adds confidence when running critical services.

General Web Hosting / Looking for Reliable VPS for New Forum Project
« Last post by Forweb on March 20, 2026, 01:10:09 PM »
Hi everyone, I’m planning to launch a small community forum (likely MyBB or XenForo) and I’m a bit new to server management. I expect low traffic initially but want room to grow. Ideally looking for 2 vCPU, 4GB RAM, and at least 80GB SSD storage with decent bandwidth (3–5TB). My monthly budget is around $15–$20. I’d prefer a location in Germany or the Netherlands for better EU latency. Can I rely on Digitalcloud.pro VPS? Any beginner-friendly providers would be appreciated.

Do you have a specific location in mind (like UK, Germany, or US)? Also, what kind of specs and traffic are you expecting?
According to my experience, these VPS hosts have been rock solid from the beginning:
1) Hostingsource.com
2) Regvps.com
3) Fasthosts.co.uk
Customer safety is the main goal for these folks. They are able to pass on the savings to you.

General Web Hosting / Re: How Much Bandwidth Does a New Forum Need?

Before recommending anything, it would help to know your target audience location, budget range, and whether you need managed or unmanaged services.

As for professional VPS, would highly recommend GTHost.com solutions. Flexible server configurations to meet my needs.
It operates in 22 global locations, delivering dedicated bare metal servers across Europe and North America. I’m beyond satisfied with their service.
