I’m looking for a VPS for a small business application that stores customer records and uploaded documents. The application isn’t resource-intensive, but losing data would be a serious problem.
hostpro.com is on my shortlist, and I’m comparing its backup options with those of other providers. I’m also planning to keep independent backups outside the VPS, just in case.
Would provider-managed daily backups with a longer retention period be a deciding factor for you, or is an independently maintained backup system enough?
