In terms of overall security, cloud hosting actually has an additional layer of security. You have your physical security measures to protect the physical datacenter from being hacked, or harmed. Next, you have a layer of security on the physical server itself. Finally, with cloud hosting you have an additional layer of security that protects the virtual network and isolates your cloud hosting environment.

However, not all cloud hosts are created equal in their security measures. The overall security of any cloud platform has to do with how certain security protocols are implemented. For example, you can have a very insecure cloud server in the same way you could have an insecure dedicated server. It’s not the underlying technology, but how it’s implemented.

It depends on which cloud hosting company you rely on.
The server on which the blog is being hosted has it's own security measures.
The cloud hosting platform provides a secure way to the blogger(s) to edit/update the content of the blog.
The authentication method provided to the blogger is essential in all of this.
As it is cloud hosted, there is extra layer of security provided.
But, it needs to be understood that as virtually, everyone with a internet connection can surf a public blog.
So, there are chances that someone breaks into the firewall of the cloud server and manipulate the content of the blog.
Cloud hosting has it's pros and cons. It is manageable from a remote workstation but that thing also makes it vulnerable. So an extra layer of security is needed.
If, you alone are going to manage a blog from a dedicated workstation, then you need not splurge on cloud hosting.
If a team is going to manage a blog, then cloud computing would be worth the dollar(s).

How you doing?

It depends on the cloud provider. If they are using their own script and custom panel then there are high chances of top-notch security like Cloudways do the same.

They provide manage hosting for multiple CMS systems like WooCommerce managed hosting, WordPress managed hosting and many others.
