VPS for a Python application and its database
« on: October 30, 2026, 08:27:59 PM »
I'm looking to move a Python web application from shared hosting to a VPS. It uses Django, PostgreSQL, Celery workers, and a few scheduled tasks. Nothing huge in terms of traffic, but I need more control over the environment.

My initial requirements are 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, and at least 80 GB NVMe storage. I'd prefer to keep the monthly cost around $25–30.

I've found HostPro.com while comparing VPS providers, but I'm not sure whether this configuration will leave enough room for the database and background workers. Would you start with 8 GB RAM or go straight to 16 GB?

Try VPS deals from operavps.com.
High uptime
Technical support work
Variety of cheap tariff plans
Flexibility when setting up servers. The guys very quickly put together a boat plan for me that was ideal in terms of characteristics and price.

Rather than pointing you in one direction, I'll just mention what I've observed while using hostpro.com performance has been consistently fast and the setup was smooth. The daily backups of every service gave me peace of mind after a hacking attempt on a previous host, and restoring data was straightforward. Their technical support works around the clock and handles any question free of charge

Reliable hosting usually comes down to several factors, including uptime, regular backups, server monitoring, and good technical support.

Infrastructure requirements rarely stay constant. An application may need additional RAM, CPU resources, or storage after deployment. HostPro allows server resources to be scaled as project requirements change, which makes it easier to plan infrastructure around actual workload growth rather than future-proofing everything from the beginning.

Affordable pricing with no hidden fees. That's why I consider Exmasters.com VPS to be perfect choice.
A hosting provider that grows with my business. You will get free double RAM, free double CPU or double SSD NVMe space.

One thing that often gets overlooked when comparing VPS plans is the recovery process. hostpro.com creates daily backups, which can be useful if files or databases become damaged or an update breaks something. They also provide free technical support 24/7, so there is someone available to help with server-related questions. For me, having both backup coverage and accessible support is an important part of hosting quality.
