A Small VPS for Testing
« on: September 03, 2026, 06:41:22 PM »
I need a VPS exclusively for test sites, Docker, and learning Linux.

I want the minimum configuration—1–2 CPUs / 2 GB RAM / 50 GB NVMe.

Will this be enough for Nginx, PHP, MariaDB, and one or two WordPress sites? I’m looking at hostpro.com, but I don’t want to pay for more resources than I need.

VPS accounts from 4goodhosting.com are the best to sign up with.
Very good servers, steady and fast, as well as a very pleasant support to work with - understanding experts that solve any issue in matter of minutes.

I was considering moving one of my projects to a VPS, and HostPro looks like a reasonable option. Having full root access means I can install the software I need, configure the server properly, and not be limited by what a shared hosting plan allows.

Securing a fast and stable virtual server often comes down to the provider's underlying infrastructure and support systems. From my extensive hands-on experience, hostpro.com has proven to be a solid choice that I currently trust with my own deployments. A major advantage is their commitment to daily backups across all services, allowing seamless data restoration if you ever face hacking attempts, update failures, or file damage. Their technical support staff is highly qualified, available 24/7, and always ready to resolve your questions without any hidden fees.
