I am looking for a cheap and reliable server for hosting a heavy website and two hosts are in my mind: hostingsource.com and yourlasthost.com.

Have a look at servers from Xtremededi.com and QHoster.com. Support is great.
I have been with them and any issues have always been met in a timely and efficient manner and resolved quickly.

ASVhost.com and libertyvps.net VPS accounts are solid and decent.
Technical support at them is very quick to get back regarding questions and problems and the team goes into depth to figure out the problem, not just to get me off the line / off chat.
