I'm moving a product catalog website from shared hosting to a VPS. The biggest challenge isn't regular traffic but importing large CSV files and updating thousands of database records several times a day.
I'm looking at 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, and 120 GB NVMe storage, with a budget of around $30 per month.
HostPro.com is among the providers I'm considering. Would 4 vCPU be enough for frequent imports, or would additional CPU cores make a significant difference? I'm also wondering whether separating the database from the application would help at this stage.
