My battery died in the parking garage under my building in Downtown Dubai and I'm trying to sort a replacement without wasting another afternoon. Last time I bought a battery in a hurry the terminals were on the wrong side and I had to go back and argue with the shop, so I'm being more careful this time. I've got a 2016 Corolla and the D47 keeps coming up as the right one, but I'd rather check properly instead of trusting the guy behind the counter. I found a Premium Varta D47 battery fitment guide in Downtown Dubai (https://carbatteryreplacementnearme.ae/varta-d47-battery-specs-compatible-cars-guide/) that actually listed dimensions and terminal positions, which was more useful than the vague reassurances I'd been getting. Still, I'd like to hear from anyone who's fitted one in a similar car. Did the hold down bracket line up without any messing about, and is there anything about the UAE spec that differs from what's listed online? I'm hoping to avoid a second trip back to the shop because that's exactly how I wasted a Saturday last time.
