Both types can be feminized, yet they behave very differently in the tent. Photoperiod plants wait for a shift to twelve hours of dark before flowering, while autoflowers move on their own schedule regardless of light timing. I still prefer photoperiod for control, though autos make sense for outdoor runs in short summers.
