Title: How do I choose the right VPS for production these days?

How do I choose the right VPS for production these days?

I’m currently choosing a VPS for several different projects and have realized that just looking at CPU and RAM isn’t enough anymore.

For me, what matters is disk speed, network stability, backups, scalability, DDoS protection, the quality of support, and how easy it is to recover the server after a serious issue.

For example, at hostpro.com, I like their approach to backups and scalability, but with other providers, you can sometimes get more CPU/RAM for the same price.

What’s your main criterion when choosing a VPS? And is it worth overpaying for infrastructure if the project itself isn’t using many resources yet?

A web hosting service with multiple server choices allows you to test performance in different regions, making it easier to identify the best location for speed and accessibility. You can get affordable as well as feature-packed vps packages from:
1) GTHost.com (https://gthost.com/)
2) DigitalCloud.pro (https://digitalcloud.pro/)
3) Digitalocean.com (https://Digitalocean.com/)
No hidden charges. Transparent pricing. Budget-friendly!
Amazing speed and security — my visitors love the smooth browsing experience.

I would consider the combination of NVMe storage and flexible resource configurations a strong point of HostPro VPS (https://hostpro.com/linux-vps). You can choose the amount of CPU, RAM, and storage that makes sense for the current workload and scale later. Daily remote backups and 24/7 technical support provide additional convenience, with Tampa, Warsaw, and Amsterdam available as locations.

From my own experience, choosing a VPS based only on RAM, CPU, and storage specifications can be misleading. What made hostpro.com (http://hostpro.com) stand out for me was the overall service, including daily backups for all services that provide an option to recover data after damage, failed updates, or hacking. The servers have also been fast enough for the workloads I have been running, without making me worry about basic performance. Whenever I have had a technical question, their qualified support team has been available 24/7 and assistance is provided for free.

For a VPS, I think it is useful to look beyond CPU and RAM and check what happens when something actually goes wrong. I have been using hostpro.com (http://hostpro.com) myself, and one feature I find particularly useful is the daily backup system for all services. Those backups can be used to restore data after data corruption, an unsuccessful update, or a security incident such as hacking. Their technical support is also available 24/7, with qualified staff who can help with questions without charging extra for the assistance.
