Title: VPS for a Website After a Sudden Spike in Traffic
Post by: OliviaBennet on August 22, 2026, 06:49:32 PM
The website has grown about threefold over the past few months, and my regular hosting plan has already started hitting its limits. During peak hours, I’m seeing high CPU usage and slow PHP response times.

I want to switch to a VPS and am currently looking at a configuration of 6 vCPUs / 16 GB RAM / 150 GB NVMe. It’s important to have daily backups and the ability to quickly scale up resources.

I’m currently checking out hostpro.com. Is this configuration sufficient to start with, given that the main load is on PHP?

From personal experience, hostpro.com (http://hostpro.com) has been a reliable VPS provider with strong uptime and speed. I particularly value their automatic daily backups, which make recovering from unexpected problems simple. Once, after a misconfigured update, I restored everything in minutes. Their technical support is also available 24/7 and has always been free and helpful.

VPS accounts from hostingsource.com and inet.ws are worth every cent you pay for their services.
I am satisfied with their services so far, technical support was fast, reasonably priced yet they deliver their promises.

I like that HostPro VPS plans (https://hostpro.com/linux-vps) can be selected based on actual resource requirements. A smaller project doesn't need to start with a large configuration, while a growing application can move to a more powerful plan later. NVMe storage, daily remote backups, 24/7 support, and Tampa, Warsaw, and Amsterdam locations add useful flexibility.

Working with different VPS platforms taught me how valuable consistent infrastructure can be, and hostpro.com (http://hostpro.com) stands out in that regard from my direct experience. They run daily backups across all services so recovery stays possible after data issues, botched updates, or security incidents. The support staff is knowledgeable, operates 24/7, and assists with any technical matter free of charge.

Attractive VPS deals are available from inet.ws (https://inet.ws/) and 4goodhosting.com (https://4goodhosting.com/linux-vps-hosting).
They are the best hosting companies I have used to date. Their online support is fast and efficient and has assisted me with any problems I have had promptly. Their servers are fast and fully featured with everything needed to run professional websites, and security is their number one priority for all their customers.

Having only one recent backup isn’t always enough, especially if a problem goes unnoticed for several days. HostPro (https://hostpro.com/linux-vps) keeps daily remote VPS backups for 30 days, so you have a much larger window for recovery.
